Yoga and other Movement Therapy options are offered at Center for Pain
and Supportive Care as a way to extend a healthy, safe complementary
treatment to those with chronic pain symptoms and limited mobility.  Movement
therapies, both classes and private sessions provide clients a slow and gentle
way to help ease pain, prevent future symptoms of pain and improve daily
functionioning, balance and stability. Breathing and relaxation techniques are
also key components as they help even further with coping, anxiety, stress,
sleep, depression, mood, ruminating thoughts and emotional distress.
